Child Tax Exemption - better for me or my son? (read below)?

My 19-year-old son lived with me 9 months last year and was a full-time student during that time. He also worked part of the year and made approximately $15,000. Would it be better for me to claim him on my tax return or would it be better for him to claim himself? (And by better I mean more of a refund for him or deduction for me dollar-wise.)
