What are the in demand and high paying careers in Arts field in US, CA?

I want to continue my education in CA. I need to choose major for the Masters Degree. I have evaluated Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design form another country and I was told to choose the major in Uni. I afraid, it will be unwise to choose to continue with textile design in CA. I looked up these jobs and find out that competition is huge and the staring salary is much lower then in other careers with MA requirements. I do not want to relocate for future career. I want to find related career, get MA and make money here in CA. Please, give ideas on were the money at and what is in demand. Also in what high paying Arts career one's accent and foreign heritage may work as a plus. Thank you to everyone who took time to answer my question..
