Hello, I was in a crash 3 years ago in ohio with no insurance. I originally lost my lost my license and payed a ticket. I was paying the insurance company back a small amount back each month as I was still in school. But unfortunately for the past 18 month I have not had a job and struggled to pay the money. Now the insurance company ped the case on to a law firm, and said they are contacting the Ohio driving department to cancel my driving privileges, and push on with law proceedings. Wouldn’t this be a civil case and what charges could I be facing? i am actually moving to Michigan to start a job next week, and will be getting Michigan license right away, before my ohio license is suspended. I did offer to start paying again now I have found a job, but they want at least $2000 dollar before I start making installments which I don’t have. So I was wondering what charges I face and will I be able to drive in another state if I get the license before im suspended in ohio.
