Anybody out there can help me I need help with Maple Story?

I'm beginning in Maple Story and I chosen to be a Magician for my job and I will like to know how do I use any beginning spells for me and how do i get the requirement ( Or do i finish the kill 8 slime's first?) to do beginners spells?
