Handshaking a girl you like?

Okay guys opinions please! Would you handshake a girl that you were interested in? Or by giving a handshake are you giving the hint that you don't like her that way? Im just curious, I really like this guy and we had an awesome night together then it ended with a handshake.. which is one of my biggest turn offs..
