How do i get custudy back if the father haves temp custady and i have no money for a lawyer?i dont know how to

i missed two court dates cuz i was talking the the father of my kids and in and out of a relationship with him.the first court date my alarm went off two hours after the court time,then i got back with gabe the secand time and he told me the right day but lyed to me about the time so i missed it..i dont know what to do to get in front of a judge
