I am interest in property management in my area, how can I start my P.M. business and promote it?

I live in Florida and would like to get in the business of managing people's property, ie snow birds. I am a skilled carpenter as well as a well rounded jack of all trades and I have obtained my B.A. last year. How can I start this endeavor?
