What motivates a Nihilist?

Nihilists just believe what they want to believe. I believe that they once believed in the existence of purpose in life because they would never have thought of "I like this, so I shall do it." if they didn't experience past remarks about values and purposes in life. Nihilists do follow their intuitions over things and they do what they want to do. They would never have thought of having "wants" if they didn't believe on the purpose of life. For me, it is not true that they do only what they like and the values are not important in life. Logically, Nihilists do think that they should do what they want to do but they would never have wanted to do something if they really just want to do something they want. It's like a big paradox, so I must believe that the concept of their mantra is do things that will make you happy and not what you want to do. Most, but not all, Nihilists are very open-minded about things and I was led to that conclusion because they would not have followed their mantra if they do not think about things critically. But some Nihilists are just influenced by other Nihilists and are forced by their subconscious minds to follow the practice. The worst thing is, some Nihilists are not really Nihilists and they just want to do what will make them happy and they don't really believe that values are not important in life, it seems that they have become fake Nihilists with that concept.
